Works in progress
Sometimes I do things for my own creativity. Currently working on a photo set called “I am so very deep”, it is a series of low effort Images that have a very vague message. Conceptually a play on how we as artists can take ourselves too seriously, and forget to jus do things for the fun of it.
I am also, on a more serious note, working on a photo set tentatively referred to as “American Hustle”. From what I conceptionally envisioned, it is a set of young first gen Americans making their own way in life, and boldly straying from the expectation of what it is we’re “supposed to do”.
We all want to make our families proud, but too many people in the world spend their lives doing something they hate because they’re afraid to do what makes them happy.
I think it is an important thing to remind myself to have some fun and not get bogged down by the business side of what I do. So, for the love of self depreciating humor, here are some photo sets of me tryng to be some edgy art person.
While pursuing my artistic passions, I also dedicate my time to taking care of animals and assisting veterinarians in my day job. Occasionally, the boundaries between work and personal life blur, and that's exactly how I met Raz! This adorable creature was discovered lost in the desert, and his previous owner made the difficult decision to entrust me with finding him a new home. As a temporary foster parent, I welcomed Raz into my life. While I developed a deep affection for this little companion, it was an incredibly fulfilling experience to see my artistic skills merge harmoniously with my veterinary profession. I'm delighted to share with you some of the pictures I captured, which has played a role in finding Raz a new, caring family.
Update: Raz found his forever home ! Although I miss the little guy everyday I am so happy we were able to find him a place he gets to call home.
